Information regarding COVID-19 (“corona virus”) and the Private Physician's activities in the coming period.

As is well known, the authorities have decided on far-reaching measures to limit the spread of the virus infection COVID-19 in Danish society. Like all other companies in Denmark, the Private Physician is subject to the framework set by the authorities for our activities.

As a company, the private doctor is special because we, as a medical guard, have attached medical staff whose accessibility and education are critical to society. Like all other doctors, we are subject to current legislation, including epidemic legislation, which gives the authorities far-reaching powers in relation to requisitioning medical staff in a situation like this. However, it is the Private Doctor's goal to maintain its service as far as possible, but our staffing situation can and will come under pressure when / if our doctors have to step into the hospitals and / or in case our doctors themselves are placed under home quarantine.

The private doctor can not make home visits to patients with symptoms of COVID-19 and of course not patients diagnosed with COVID-19.

The private doctor's emergency doctors visit many patients and there will be a risk of infection chain if our doctor incurs COVID-19 and drives from patient to patient.

For cold symptoms, fever, if you have spent time with a COVID-19 infected, we therefore without exception refer to the public epidemic preparedness.
